Single Piece Traceability

The Single Piece Traceability (SPT) module extends production visibility beyond the sewing line by tracking each individual garment through various post-sewing processes using Barcode scanning technology.

This ensures real-time traceability of every piece up to final packing.

  • Unique QR Code Labels: Each garment is tagged with a unique QR label after sewing.
  • Barcode Scanners: Installed at each process station to scan garments at every stage.
  • Traceability Software System: Records and tracks every scan event to maintain a live traceability log of each piece.
  1. Post-Sewing QR Tagging:

Once a garment exits the sewing line, it is tagged with a unique QR label.

  2. Entry into SPT Module:

The garment is scanned using a barcode scanner at the entry point of the Single Piece Traceability module.

  3. Sequential Stage Scanning:

Each garment is scanned at multiple checkpoints/stages:

    • Rigid Station
    • Staging
    • Garment Wet Process
    • Garment Dry Process
    • After Wash QC
    • Finishing
    • Packing

At each station, the scanner scans the QR code and updates the system with:

    • Time of scan
    • Operator/station details
    • Process stage
  4. Final Scan at Packing:

The last scan is done at the Packing Station, confirming the completion of the traceability cycle for that garment.

  • Complete traceability from sewing to packing
  • Individual garment history available for QA and audit
  • Enhanced accountability at each production stage
  • Real-time tracking of production bottlenecks
  • Data-driven insights for process optimization
