Employee Onboarding
This document serves as a guide for the steps required to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
1. Hardware to issue
Section titled “1. Hardware to issue”Employees will need a laptop along with accessories.
The specific device and accessories required will depend on the employee’s role.
For Developers:

2. Accounts to Be Created
Section titled “2. Accounts to Be Created”The following accounts must be created prior to the new employee’s joining date. Please coordinate with the DevOps team to ensure timely setup:
- Company email account, including access to Microsoft Teams
- Passbolt account
- GitHub account (using the company email; required only for developers)
- Google account (linked to company email)
- Odoo account (for timesheet management)
- Azure DevOps (For Sprints Task)
3. Pre-Onboarding & First-Day Requirements
Section titled “3. Pre-Onboarding & First-Day Requirements”The following steps must be completed before or on the employee’s first day to ensure a smooth onboarding experience:
- Finalize the new hire’s team lead (HR responsibility)
- Finalize the office desk assignment (HR responsibility)
- HR should send an email to the DevOps and Operations teams requesting the creation of the aforementioned accounts and the arrangement of a device for the new employee
- Ensure the employment contract is signed on the first day
- Conduct an orientation session by HR
- Schedule a meeting with a DevOps team member for account setup and explanation of each account’s purpose
- Send a welcome email from HR
- Conduct a one-on-one meeting with the team lead to finalize two-week goals and define responsibilities
- Complete the device sign-off form (if a laptop or other equipment is issued)
4. WiMetrix Policies
