Odoo

This document is intended to serve as a guide for new users who are joining WiMetrix.

The Link to access Odoo is https://people.wimetrix.com which is accessible from anywhere.

  1. Visit https://people.wimetrix.com. You will be greeted with the login page. login-1

  2. Click on “Microsoft Azure” to login. login-2

  3. Sign in using your company-provided email and password. login-3

  4. You should be redirected to the Odoo home page on successful login.

  1. Clicking on rectangle Icon on top-left corner from the dashboard. timesheet-1

  2. Click on the “Timesheet” button in the dropdown menu. timesheet-2

  3. To Create new Timesheet. Click on the “New” button. timesheet-3

  4. Select Date, Project, Task, Category, Description (Optional), and the time spent on the task, in hours and minutes.

    • Use the project “Internal” for tasks that do not belong to any client project.
    • For each day, make sure you enter the full 8 working hours.
    • Breaks like Lunch breaks should be added under the “Internal” project.
    • Category is used to differentiate the time spent by different departments. For example, developers should select “Development” for their tasks.
    • If a client project is missing, please inform HR and we will add them. timesheet-4
  5. If you are not able to find the task in the list you can enter a new task by typing the name and clicking the “Create” button in the dropdown menu or by pressing “enter”. timesheet-5
